  • MIC3 – Meet the Makers & Opening Night!

With over 280 people in attendance, our Made in Chicago III show opening exceeded expectations—and our beverage supply! Guests mingled with the artists and their creations while enjoying wine, cheese, and hors d'oeuvres. The store provided the perfect backdrop – ancient architecture for modern furniture. If you couldn’t join us last Thursday, don’t worry—the show exhibition runs until May 15th.

  • Photoset: Printer Trays

We, at The Golden Triangle in Chicago, are well known for our rare furnishings, whether antique or newly made from reclaimed materials.  The world is filled with gems, for instance old printer’s trays.  Watch as we paint the printer’s trays black and aesthetically fill the spaces with colored blocks.  Simple, but effective, and even fun art.  Take one home and move the blocks as you will.

  • Photoset: Temple Flowers

In this project, we installed a collection of wooden temple flowers in a customer’s home.  The installation was originally displayed in our store’s front window on La Salle Street.  Our customer saw them there and imagined them above his kitchen in his 28th floor condo in Chicago’s newest lakefront high-rise.  He wanted the artwork to be equal to the apartment’s unique and dramatic views.  Our solution was a custom arrangement of the wooden flowers tailored to his kitchen’s “L”-shaped walls.
