The Show—formerly known as the Antiques & Garden Fair—has been reinvented for 2015, and promises to inspire stylish living while offering beautiful gardens and objects in a way that transcends the ordinary. It's all about new: stunning new indoor gardens designed by Craig Bergmann Landscape Design, new items—including a horticulture section—and a new, stronger layout. Those attending the Preview Evening will be the first to experience the Show as they enjoy priority shopping and elegant fare; complimentary valet parking is included.
Visit our booth #128. Expect an eclectic design with an enchanting selection of ancient and modern furnishings. We've created an imaginative vignette nestled among the indoor gardens and newly-added horticulture section. Also be sure to visit TheHighBoy booth #404 curated by Jessica LaGrange Interiors using a special selection of decor from The Golden Triangle.
The show opens with the preview party tonight and continues April 17-19.

The Golden Triangle is having an Architectural Oddities sale. If you've ever been to the back room in this magnificent Asian and European antiques store then you know there are some amazing gems from which to choose. "I've held on to some of these pieces for 15 years, waiting for that special project—do you have one?" owner Doug Van Tress asked on Facebook the other day. Van Tress himself makes very cool Mondrian-inspired art out of old printers' trays he buys in Burma (he paints blocks of wood in bold colors and fits them into the large grids; see photo above). At the sale, find 100-year-old British Colonial Raj remnants, salvaged elements of Thai houses, and lots of teak pieces that can be repurposed.

MADE IN CHICAGO was a terrific success. Over 250 guests mingled with local artists, interior designers, furniture makers, and members of the media. For The Golden Triangle, it was the first time the store had emphasized local, Chicago-made products and blended them in with Asian and European antiques. The result was an original and stimulating combination of elements that attracted much favorable comment. The full show will be up for just three weeks, but Chicago-made furniture and art will be a part of the store's inventory from now on.
