French Draper's Table with Two Drawers

This impressive draper's table is from France and dates to the 19th Century and is made from solid Oak. The table features two drawers and a beautiful aged patina. The sides and legs retain some of their original darker finish and some antique grime. The top has been polished smooth and light by use and exposure to sunlight. The overall effect is one of plausible age and great charm. It is very very sturdy and all structural elements are in good condition and original. Though it was made to be a worktable, it is possible to use the piece as a dining table. The long stretcher is conveniently found in the center of the table, allowing the placement of a row of chairs on each side.
