British Colonial Teak Wood Jewelry Cabinet

This teak wood display counter was once found in a retail store in Rangoon, Burma. It dates to the early 20th Century. It has a pair of doors to retrieve merchandise through the back. The front features a glass panel so merchandise can be displayed and viewed. Many glass paned cabinets were used to protect boxed goods and merchandise. Wear consistent with age and use.
