This British Colonial breakfront bookcase comes in two parts; both the top and bottom have 2 pairs of glass panel doors and 1 sliding door that opens up to compartments lined with shelves. It's scale and ample storage make this a perfect book display for an office or library. Made from teak wood the piece also has a natural insect repellent in order to protect books and documents; this is why teak wood was used for bookcases and display cabinets during the British Colonial era.
