Monumental French Architectural Element | c. 1880

Originally a window surround, the vacant frame has since been retrofitted and transformed into a sweeping floor-length mirror. This zinc architectural element was likely salvaged from a Persian Renaissance Revival building. Though handsomely modern, classical elements of architecture can be seen in the Roman Arch-like cornice and the scrolling columns that flank each side of the frame.
